there was a fox the other day in my back yard.
you can see some of the most beautiful sunsets from the very back.
there are about 600 head stones in the yard and sometimes, at night, they look like bundles of hey in a field.

In my little village we have natural Sulfer Springs where back in the 30's famous peeps from all around would come to bathe in them... there are pictures in our little hospital... the naturopathic clinic in the hospital just started the sulfer baths again a few years ago... it maybe healthy, but I don't like smeeling the rotten egg salad stench if I can help it!!! Thankfully the springs are down wind from me... and I can't smell them normally unless it rains and they get stirred up, and that's usually if I'm walking around the hospital grounds and downtown... you get used to it... but I used to chase the smell around my apartment with insence when I first moved here... in that first apartment the springs traveled right under the building... don't miss those days!!

My house is seemingly 10 minutes away from everything in the entire city.

when you look out of the window, on the east you see lots of traffic and police cars and hookers and ghetto shit, and on the west it's like a farm land. and there's a wall all around the yard, with an old iron gate, and you need a remote control thingy to get in and out.
          and the neighbours are dead.

Many birds come to visit me every day and bring their gift of song. I'm surround by rhododendron, holly, azalea and magnolia trees. We have two little, round hobbit houses that are connected by mossy walkways and are surrounded by magical woods. I wish the dish fairies would come more often though to help with the dishes. Their too busy playing with the bubbles to get any work done around here ;)

my home is in a valley between two of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Colorado...
in the summer the fields fill with sunflowers and in the winter...when the sun rises...the snow-topped mountains turn a blood red that gave them their name. The Sangre De Cristos. It's a small town...but I know the dirt roads by heart...
and I always miss the freedom of having so much national forest to explore.

I live among the Siskiyou Mountains in southwest Oregon. It's cold with a bit of snow around right now, but the daffodils will be blooming in a month. We have the widest variety of plant life west of the Mississippi, and it's always a rush to explore the hills and discover something rare and beautiful.
