Years ago, .....I got shitfaced drunk and started driving my truck somewere. I made an illegal "U"-turn to get on the freeway onramp. It took me about five miles to realize why they were putting the stupid freeway signs on the oppisite side of the overpasses where you can't read them. What I thought was the onramp was an offramp and I drove a mind boggling long way, ....the wrong way!....on the freeway! Lucky there was no oncoming traffic. It was late, or very early in the morning. I was able to figure it out and turn it around without incident or accident......That was one of the stupidest things I've ever done and will admit to, :(

and i must add i live on the tippy top floor...who needs a gym membership when you not only climb flights of stairs everyday but also if you can't afford a moving company you get to drag/push/kick/threaten furniture up them as well!

I kept letting my ex come back, instead of telling him to go away the first time. Now he just won't leave me alone!! What to do...

I got married to people I didn't agree with, at the heart level. Big mistake. Love is one thing, values another. I've learned now that if I have a gut feeling, give it the attention it deserves and don't try to whitewash red flags. I can respect people for their individuality and talents, but if I don't feel OK with how their heart is, even if it's in an area that doesn't focus on me, no deal. Whether he agrees with my definitions isn't important. It's myself I have to live with, and if we don't agree on basic things like empathy and love, forget it. Neither of us will be happy.

I chose to be divorced both times and don't regret it, but if I could do it over again, I would not have made the same choices. I'd rather keep them as friends and avoid conflict. I don't think I could be friends with the first one, but the second one and I are friends. I think.

Another stupid thing was being the whistle blower or fall guy at work. I am trying to just keep my mouth shut and do my job these days. I'm outspoken so it's tough, but after the last couple jobs, I'm motivated.

I definitely have several categories in that area. Like most of you there was the one bad marriage and numerous losers that I have dated category. Then there is the how much alcohol can one person drink at a time category. And of course the stupidest one-night stand category. There are certainly lots more but the one I'll share is my favorite monetary mistake: I actually bought one of those idiotic time shares after sitting through a flashy presentation. 9K down the drain in the blink of an eye. Had it for a year and was only able to make a reservation for 1 night at a location on the Oregon coast. I call it my $9,000 night. Too bad I was alone. Anyway, I ended up selling it for $4,500 so I guess it was only a $4,500 stupid mistake. Oye.

I've done tons of stupid things...but lately..I didnt feel like getting up to bend over to get something off the floor, so I decided to lean forward just enough for the wheels on the chair to give and dump me right on the floor...Luckily...noone was in the office

I once rearranged the instructions for connecting a 240v cord to a dryer thusly:
1. plug in cord
2. connect exposed wires to dryer
3. electrocute the shit out of yourself

man, there are so many choices...
Here's some of my finer moments... these are all classics dating back to the early nineties:
I loaned my ex of SEVERAL years 600 bucks. Never got it back, imagine that.
I poured out powdered hair dye in front of a fan on high aimed right at me and my open eyes/mouth once. Learned my lesson REAL quick, and no, my vision was not impaired.
I trusted someone to work for me and took a muscle relaxer with some vodka, only to have the boss show up at my door. That would be one good way to lose your first job.

I let my ex (well, not my ex at the time) talk me into having a threesome with a friend of his that I really disliked. Without going into too much detail, it was one of the worst nights of my life.

What a waste of time!!!

a little over a year ago my one cat caught a mole in the basement overnight. we found it n the floor and disposed of it immediately. as i walked past my snake plant i saw what i believed to be water near the botom of the planter but didnt remember watering it(it was early in the morning) so i stuck my finger in it and for some reason i tasted instead of smelled it. to my horror it was fluid left behind from the dying mole before he was snatched back up by one of the cats . after i looked closer i could see a rodent type pattern.
yep that was STUPID and nasty

I think it might be when I got drunk as hell and made out with another woman much younger than me on a dance floor...who was married...to an extremely jealous batterer...in front of her husband's sister...and went way farther than that on a bench later.

All in all, I got away with it by chumming around with the sister until I got a promise of secrecy, and then made sure I was far more absent from that person's life. It was extraordinarily stupid though.

Close runner up would be skimming around a lake on a jet ski at 50 mph in irreplaceable diamond earrings. Didn't lose the earrings. You have to love the mistakes that don't have consequences attached.
