Re: New Year Resolutions?
Wed, January 9, 2008 - 12:22 PMI don't make actual resolutions. I just start doing things when I think they need to be done. But coincidentally, over the holiday season I found that I didn't keep in touch with people well enough so, I'm gonna make a concerted effort to do that.

Re: New Year Resolutions?
Wed, January 9, 2008 - 5:06 PMThe whole idea of resolutions escapes me. Every day of my life, I make plans for the future. I make long-term goals, most of which are going to take more than one year to realize. So, the advent of a new calendar year never prompts me to make "resolutions" for the next year. The concept of making a resolution to kick your ass into gear is bound for failure. Make plans, every day, and strive to accomplish what you need to accomplish, every day. That, to me, seems the most reasonable philosophy -

Tue, February 12, 2008 - 10:44 AMBadAss, That strategy sounds like it works for you. Great. I've seen folks who don't/can't operate that way, have made NY resolutions, and by gosh stick to then. To each his own.

Re: New Year Resolutions?
Tue, February 12, 2008 - 3:49 PMI do have goals. But not any 'resolutions' related to a calendar year.
Mine are personal... Do you have any that you want to share?
